Leg trainer for wound packing and tourniquet application
General Description
The lower limb medical trainer is an anatomically accurate model of an adult human leg (including part of the thigh, knee joint, and lower leg), made from high-quality, flesh-colored silicone. Its design replicates the shape, proportions, and surface of soft tissues to provide a highly realistic training environment.
The leg is bent at a 10° angle at the knee, allowing trainees to practice tourniquet application, wound packing, and other procedures in lifelike positions.
Wound Features
- Simulated gunshot wound and cut wound.
- Gunshot wound entry hole: Ø 15 mm, wound channel depth: 35 mm.
- The wound channel widens inward with irregular walls, making packing more difficult.
- Cut wound length: 90 mm, depth: 30 mm.
- Built-in bone simulation for practicing vessel compression and enhancing realism during procedures.
Functional Capabilities
- Practice of deep wound channel packing techniques.
